LAS VEGAS - Season tickets for the 2002 UNLV football season go on sale March 25. Sideline seating will be $125 (with prime locations dependant on level of scholarship donation) while end-zone seats are $65. Season tickets will only be available by calling (702) 895-UNLV.

Individual-game tickets will go on sale July 29 at prices still to be announced.

Rebel fans will enjoy six home games in 2002 for the first time in six years and will get to see their team open at home for the first time since 1994 as Big Ten Conference power Wisconsin comes to town to kick the season off August 31.

"We are facing a very challenging schedule and offering six home games makes this a very attractive season for our fans, which will help us in our continuing goal of filling Sam Boyd Stadium," UNLV head coach and athletics director John Robinson said.

Along with meeting three Mountain West Conference rivals, UNLV will host a team from powerful leagues such as the Big Ten and Big 12 as well as in-state rival Nevada, Reno in the annual Battle for the Cannon on October 5.

Kickoff times for all games are still to be determined and will be affected by television.

"People can not only get great seats for perhaps the best home schedule in school history, but also lock in their location for 2003, which is also very attractive," associate athletics director Terry Cottle said.

The 2003 home schedule will also feature six opponents: Hawaii, Toledo, BYU, Utah, San Diego State and Colorado State.
