Named to the Academic All-MWC team for a second straight year.
2005: Started 16 games and played in 33 total contests in his rookie season for the Rebels ... Made his first start in his second career collegiate game against Cal State Northridge, playing third base ... Hit his first home run on May 6 against Air Force, a two-run blast in the eighth inning ... Later that game he added a solo shot for the first multi-homer game of his career as well and he finished that contest with three RBI ... Collected two hits in a game five times ... Earned Academic All-MWC honors.
High School: A native of the Silver State, graduating in 2004 from Carson HS in Carson City, Nev. ... Played third base and shortstop ... The Senators record was 93-56 during his four years at the school ... Earned first team all-conference honors all four years, twice at third base and twice at shortstop ... Named a high school All-American during his senior season ... Played on AAU team Sierra Sun Devils squad that won the Joe DiMaggio World Series three consecutive years from 2002 to 2004.
