Game Three Box Score 
A trio of pitchers from Team Gray combined to allow just one run on three hits as Gray won game three of the Scarlet-Gray World Series 4-1 at Earl E. Wilson Stadium on Tuesday afternoon.
Each team is now 1-1-1 in the series, with the eventual champion being decided by a point system.
Gray starting pitcher Steven Rinaudo gave up just two hits in 4.1 innings, Adam Moser logged 1.2 scoreless innings and Thomas Whitsett closed out the game by allowing just one run in the bottom of the seventh.
Junior catcher Michael Brenly knocked in the game's first run in the top of the third on an RBI triple and Gray's lead grew to two runs in the top of the fifth when Kyle Kretchmer scored on a fielder's choice.
Moser then helped his own cause in the top of the sixth, as he was forced to bat with two outs and runners on first and second because earlier in the game Gray chose to give up the designated hitter spot. Moser took a Troy Watson offering to right field, scoring a run to make it 4-0.
In the bottom half of the seventh Scarlet finally got on the board as Drew Beuerlein walked, moved to third on a double and then scored on a fielder's choice to cap the scoring. Corey Hales took the loss for Scarlet, giving up one run on six hits over 3.1 innings of work.
Game four is Friday afternoon at 12:05 p.m. (PT) at Earl E. Wilson Stadium and game five is slated for Saturday afternoon at 12:05 p.m.
