WR Coach Off To Northwestern

Dec. 16, 2003

LAS VEGAS - Garrick McGee, who coached UNLV's wide receivers for just the 2003 season, has left the program for a similar job at Northwestern, the schools announced Tuesday.

McGee, 30, will help coach the Wildcats vs. Bowling Green in the Motor City Bowl on December 26.

The Big Ten Conference team will be the fourth stop in as many years for McGee, who came to UNLV after just one year at Toledo.

UNLV head coach John Robinson said he expects to name a new receivers coach in the next month.
