Playing a neutral-site Mountain West Conference matchup, the UNLV men's tennis team closed its regular-season schedule with a 4-2 upset of No. 54 San Diego State on Saturday at BYU's Indoor Tennis Courts. [ + ] Playing a neutral-site Mountain West Conference matchup, the UNLV men's tennis team built a 3-2 lead but could not close out Utah and ultimately fell 4-3 late Friday night at BYU's Indoor Tennis Courts. [ + ] The UNLV men's tennis team was forced indoors in a neutral site meeting with No. 51 New Mexico and lost 4-0 at the BYU Indoor Courts late Thursday. The Rebels fell to 9-10 overall and 2-2 in Mountain West Conference play. [ + ] The UNLV men's tennis team closed out its non-conference schedule by upsetting 66th-ranked UC Irvine 5-2 at Anteater Stadium Saturday afternoon. In what was a rematch of former Big West Conference rivals, the Rebels evened their overall record at 9-9 while the Anteaters fell to 8-11. [ + ] In a battle for first place, the UNLV men's tennis squad lost its first Mountain West Conference match of the season, 5-2, to 31st-ranked TCU at the Fertitta Tennis Complex on Saturday.
