Linkous Joins Lady Rebels

LAS VEGAS - Elizabeth Linkous has been named director of women's basketball operations at UNLV, head coach Regina Miller announced on Thursday.

Linkous comes to Las Vegas after spending the past two years as the basketball operations coordinator and equipment manager for the Indiana Fever in the WNBA. Prior to working with the Fever, she worked in several basketball and other athletic related positions. Linkous has worked as a sports information intern for the Indiana High School Athletic Association, was a women's basketball operations intern at Notre Dame during the 2001-02 season, and spent one year as an assistant women's basketball coach for Earlham College in Richmond, Ind.

Linkous played four years for Saint Mary's College in Notre Dame, Ind., and earned her bachelor of arts degree in mass communications in May of 2002. She received her master's degree in sports administration and management in December of 2004 from Indiana University.
