Week Seven Release in PDF Format 
Leading Off:
After playing to a 4-1 mark this past weekend in the UNLV Round Robin, the Rebels will embark on their third of four scheduled trips to California. The squad will play a doubleheader at Loyola Marymount in Los Angeles on Wednesday, March 19, and follow that up with four games in Cal State Fullerton's Judi Garman Classic. At the "Garman" the Rebels will play four top-25 teams in Michigan, Louisiana-Lafayette, DePaul and Long Beach State.
On Deck:
The Rebels will take the final weekend of March off after playing in California this week. UNLV will return to action on Wednesday, April 2, vs. Southern Utah at 5:00 pm. The Rebels will then kick off Mountain West Conference play with a pair of contests at San Diego State on April 5 and 6. Both games are scheduled for 1:00 pm.
Bean Takes MWC Weekly Honor:
UNLV senior Stephanie Bean has been named Mountain West Conference Softball Player of the Week. Bean, from Redding, Calif., helped UNLV to a 4-1 record in the UNLV Round Robin this weekend. She led the Rebels with her .733 batting average, 11 hits and seven runs. She tallied three, three-hit games, and had at least one hit in all five contests. In the Rebels first game vs. Utah Valley, she went 3-for-3 with three runs scored. In game two vs. UVU, she led off the fifth with a double and wound up scoring on a grand slam. In the third contest vs. UVU, Bean went 3-for-3 with an RBI-single in the third and also scored a run. In the second game vs. Nebraska, Bean went 3-for-3 with two runs and an RBI-single. She scored UNLV's first run in the game and later came across for the team's fourth tally.
