The UNLV volleyball program will be making three appearances on television this season, as the Rebels will be featured twice on The Mtn. and once on the CBS College Sports Network. In all, the Mountain West Conference will have 11 regular-season tilts aired between the two networks.
The Rebels first exposure on the small screen will occur on the road in Salt Lake City against the Utah Utes on Thursday, Oct. 9. The Utah match is set for a 6:00 pm PT (7:00 pm MT) first serve on The Mtn.
UNLV will be pitted against the Colorado State Rams in its final televised contests. The Rebels and Rams will be shown live, from Las Vegas, on The Mtn. at 7:00 pm PT on Thursday, Oct. 16. CSU will welcome UNLV to Fort Collins, Colo., on Sunday, Nov. 16 for a battle on CBS College Sports Network (3:00 pm PT/4:00 pm MT).
Both channels can be found in Las Vegas on Cox Digital Cable. The Mtn. can be found on ch. 334, while CBS C is located on 333.
DIRECTV, the nation's leading satellite television service provider will launch the MountainWest Sports Network - The Mtn. on August 27. The Mtn. will be available on channel 616 on DIRECTV CHOICE and above packages for the states servicing Mountain West Conference institutions (Colorado, New Mexico, Nevada, Utah, Wyoming and the designated market areas of Dallas/Fort Worth and San Diego). Customers throughout the remainder of the country will be able to access The Mtn. with a subscription to DIRECTV's Sportspack.
The Rebels will kick off the 2008 season on the road in Tempe, Ariz., at a tournament hosted by the Arizona State Sun Devils (Aug. 29-30). UNLV will open up the tournament with a 10:00 am match vs. the Dayton Flyers on Friday, Aug. 29. The Rebels will play the host Sun Devils later that evening at 7:00 pm. A 11:00 am match with South Carolina on Saturday, Aug. 30, will close out the first weekend of action.
UNLV will open its home season with a tournament on Sept. 5-6 in the Cox Pavilion. The Rebels will welcome Wisconsin, Cal State Fullerton and Miami (Ohio) to Las Vegas. The Rebels will play Wisconsin on Friday, Sept. 5, at 7:00 pm., before hosting Cal State Fullerton (12:00 pm) and Miami (Ohio) on Saturday, Sept. 6.
Overall, the Rebels will play in four tournaments with only one at home. The team is scheduled for 30 regular-season matches with a total of 22 opponents. The full schedule can be accessed by clicking here.

Season tickets prices range from $30.00 for Faculty/Staff and Seniors, while adults are $40.00. Children under 12 are always free. Individual game prices range from $4.00 (groups of 20 or more), $5.00 (seniors and faculty/staff) and $7.00 (adults).
